There are lots of ways you can get involved with the Forest of Mercia...
Volunteer and Work Experience:
Would you like to gain experience, develop new skills, meet new people and do something positive for your local community and environment? The Forest of Mercia offers volunteer and work experience placements for people of all ages. You can volunteer for one day, become a long term volunteer, perhaps do one week of work experience, whatever you feel comfortable with and whatever time you are able to give.

Become a Friend in the Forest - 
This provides you with the opportunity to not only access support from the Forest of Mercia team, but also to be part of a growing network of individuals and organisations providing support for each other. Anyone can become a Friend. On registering as a Friend, you will be included on the mailing list for the quarterly Forest of Mercia E-newsletter and be able to access support and advice from the team. We will keep you informed with forthcoming events and activities, volunteer opportunities etc. This is a new project, so you will also be part of something exciting and innovative in the area, and will be invited to help shape how this project evolves.
In return, we ask you to keep us informed of any project work, activities, events etc. that take place within the Forest of Mercia, to help us monitor what is going on within the Community Forest, and assess how we can work in partnership to make sustainable positive differences together for the future.
